  4. How long will my Conveyancing take?
For property purchases, the transaction usually takes in the region of 8-12 weeks although this figure is only an estimate because there are many factors that may vary depending on the circumstances of your particular transaction. Perhaps most significantly, the length of the "chain" of purchasers will determine the length of the transaction because all parties have to be ready to move on the same day, so the more people involved is likely to result in a longer conveyancing process.
